Devil May Cry Collection May Or May Not Be Happening

According to a Spanish website that no one's ever heard of before, there is a Devil May Cry Collection coming to the PS3 in November, retailing at $40.  The collection includes Devil May, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening; the 3rd game is the Special Edition, which included Vergil as a playable character.  Anyway, the box art was too lazy to be real, so naturally, IT ISN'T.  Here is the fake box art for the Devil May Cry 10th Anniversary Collection, in all its fake glory:

It's an obvious photoshop, as that art was used for the European versions of the Devil May Cry 5th Anniversary Collection, which included all three games and was released for the PS2; essentially, the new collection would just be an HD upgrade of the PS2 collection.  Going back, I seriously hope they don't come up with some ridiculously hideous/lazy design for the cover of the supposed collection, because Dante deserves better than that.  The website the picture was taken from can be found here:

Note that the original post was made on the website XtraLife, although their article about the collection has since been taken down.  Interesting.

The Devil May Cry Collection is one I have been repeatedly clamoring for (see: http://unchartedgaming.blogspot.com/2011/02/devil-may-cry-collection-for-ps3-and.html and http://unchartedgaming.blogspot.com/2011/06/hd-collections-that-need-to-happen.html), and I am seriously psyched to be able to play these games on my PS3.  Back when I first posted about the collection rumor, however, Devil May Cry 4 was supposed to be included in the package.  Well, whatever.  We shall see.  In the mean time, Capcom is denying that a Devil May Cry Collection is even in the works.  Very well, Capcom; you keep your secrets for now.
